Appearing on Shark Tank is a dream for so many entrepreneurs, and I’m no different. More than a year ago, I got an email from a producer at Shark Tank encouraging me to apply for season 16 of the show. At first, I hesitated. BAM, America’s first Buckwheat Milk, had only been on shelf in Southern California for a few weeks. No way was I ready for primetime, I recall thinking. But, a little voice told me to just apply and see what happens. If nothing else, I thought this would be a fantastic opportunity to introduce the Sharks and millions of Shark Tank fans to buckwheat, America’s next “IT” ingredient. Sometimes, when opportunity knocks, you have to take it.

So, I hope you’ll watch Shark Tank this Friday, March 21 at 8pm ET/PT and stream the next day on Hulu.
