Encinitas, CA – Apr. 1, 2024 – BAM® Buckwheat Milk is now available in select Whole Foods Market stores in Southern California.

BAM® is America’s first plant-based milk made from buckwheat. This innovative, climate-smart, clean-label addition to the refrigerated non-dairy category comes in three varieties: Original, Extra Creamy and Hint of Vanilla. All SKUs are certified USDA Organic, Non-GMO and Kosher. BAM® can be enjoyed the same ways a traditional dairy milk or another dairy-free alternative would be used.

Despite its name, buckwheat is a naturally gluten-free fruit seed, not a grain, nor wheat. Buckwheat is a top 2024 food trend, according to Whole Foods Market, The New York Times and TODAY.com.

Formulated to be “100% Clean Label,” BAM® is free from oils, natural flavors and preservatives. Each cup of BAM boasts 4g of complete plant-based protein from buckwheat, and the Extra Creamy option has 8g thanks to the addition of pea protein.
